Vic & Sara Fusco Address IBS Radio Conference

On March 10, 2006 Vic Fusco (Host) and Sara Fusco (Executive Producer) of Labor-Lines, our own radio show, presented a panel discussion on the production of public affairs radio programs at the Intercollegiate Broadcast System Conference held in Manhattan. Other panelists included Bill McNulty a program host from WUSB and Dustin Herlich a former program host and current station manager of WUSB. The annual conference presents two days of seminars on a multitude of topics about collegiate, community and commercial radio for college students and community members of college, community and commercial broadcast stations. Professor Norm Prusslin of the State University of New York at Stony Brook coordinates the conference. In 2007, Fusco again was a panelist at the conference, appearing on a panel discussion about special events broadcasting with WUSB’s Richard L’Hommedieu who is also the curator of the Long Island Music Hall of Fame and others.
