Rada conducts law enforcement seminar series
Milan Rada has spearheaded a number of seminars for members of the Nassau Country Police Department. In addition to educating the officers about their rights under the law, Rada has been conducting informational seminars on the “9-11 Presumption Bill.”
On December 26, 2005, Milan Rada and Victor Fusco spoke with a class of newly promoted Nassau County Police Sergeants, which also included new Sergeants from various towns and villages across Nassau County. On February 20, 2006, they met with the Nassau County Guardians to discuss disability matters including accidental disability retirement, performance of duty disability retirement, Workers' Compensation and Social Security Disability benefits.
Milan Rada and Richard J. Brandenstein conducted meetings at the office of the Nassau County Police Benevolent Association on January 5, 2006, 12th and 18th. These meetings were held to inform Nassau County Police Officers about the requirements that must be met in order to qualify for 3/4 disability benefits related to illnesses and diseases contracted from working in the rescue, recovery or clean-up following the 9-11-2001 terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center.
