Fusco attends two Scleroderma Confabs
On October 28th, Vic and Sara Fusco participated in a Scleroderma Seminar at Huntington Hospital. Vic gave a presentation on Scleroderma and Social Security Disability. Also speaking were famed rheumatologist Dr. Harry Spiera, of Mt. Sinai Medical Center, and Dr. Barry Gruber, a dermatologist, internist, allergist, rheumatologist and clinical research specialist from Stony Brook University Medical Center who has done ground breaking work in osteoporosis, scleroderma, and connective tissue disorders. The Fusco’s also attended a Scleroderma Conference on November 19th at the Hospital for Special Surgery in NYC featuring Dr. Harry Spiera and his son Dr. Robert Spiera, both leading rheumatologists.
