Fusco Participates in Press Conference with Nassau and Suffolk Legislators

On May 2nd, Victor Fusco participated in a press conference organized by Nassau Legislative Presiding Office Judy Jacobs and Suffolk Legislative Presiding Officer Bill Lindsay. Also participating were Nassau Legislators David Mejias, Wayne Wink and Kevan Abraham, and Suffolk Legislator Kate Browning, and Carmen Maldonado from NYCOSH. The purpose of the conference was to once again strongly urge all 9-11 responder to file their notices of participation on or before the deadline dates of June 13th (NYC Pension) June 14th (NYS Pension) and August 14th (Workers' Compensation). Workers do not have to be ill to file these notices, but you must do timely. Even workers who’ve already filed Workers' Compensation cases, should file the notices of participation.
