Fusco Addresses Accountants’ Group

Vic Fusco was a featured speaker at the May 22, 2007 dinner meeting of the New York Society of Independent Accountants held at the Plainview Holiday Inn. Fusco spoke about the stringent anti-employer fraud provisions contained in the recent amendments to the Workers' Compensation Law. He cautioned the accountants to alert their clients to these changes as violations will be severely penalized with criminal and civil sanctions of up to $50,000 in penalties.
