Fusco guests on Bill Ayre’s Show on WPLJ 95.5 FM

Vic Fusco guested on Bill Ayre’s long running talk radio program on New York’s WPLJ 95.5 on Monday April 28th at 1:30 AM, addressing "holes in the safety net" how programs like Workers Compensation, Disability, Unemployment, and Social Security Disability fail to protect working families.

Bill Ayres is not only a talk show host but is also the Executive Director of World Hunger Year (WHY), which he co-founded with the late Harry Chapin.

He began hosting and producing a weekly radio talk show on NY Radio WPLJ 95.5FM in 1973, on which he has taken thousands of calls and offered advice about personal, relational, spiritual and social values.

Fusco hosts his own radio program "Labor-Lines" heard on WGBB AM 1240 Freeport NY on Thursdays at 7:00 PM and Saturdays at 6:30 PM, and webcast at www.am1240wgbb.com, in turn, promised to invite Ayre’s onto "Labor-Lines" to talk about his work with World Hunger Year.

Later in the day, Fusco and Ayres participated a conference dealing with Hunger on Long Island, held at Adelphi. Obviously neither of them had gotten much sleep as the conference commenced at 8:30 AM.
